Pablo Frias Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Hi guys, I recently bought a laptop (HP Pavilion 15-bc450ns) in order to use it for my university work. I finally ended up using it to play while I´m in class (I hope my teachers don´t read this) and when I tried to play Naval Action on it things didn´t go as expected. Basically, when I tried to enter Open World this happened and stayed like this forever: Everything works fine on my main PC, but as soon as I try to play on my laptop..... that happens.
Complete-Disaster Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 uhm i would never recommend playing games on laptop in first place... But have you checked your power options so it set to max performance?
Dread2005 Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 https://shadow.tech i use this at work, but you may need to get some Firewall Ports open... but if the game started they should work!
Ink Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 @Pablo Frias What are specs of the laptop? Do you have an option to use the same source of internet as your main PC to check the game? 2
Edited October 10, 2019 by pepepotamo

Raekur Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 First thing is to test it on the home network, second is to make sure it is installed on the D drive not C. Next check the game settings and put them all to low to get a baseline. I have a laptop that I play the game on that has only a i7-3630QM processor (2.4ghz) and while it does not run exceptionally well, it runs well enough to do pvp and missions on.

Laptops have come a long way for gaming. My last laptop could play anything available. My guess is his issue is hardware related, or he needs a fresh install. I'm leaning toward the former being the case. Naval Action isn't exactly low spec friendly. Edited October 11, 2019 by Haratik
Knuddel Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated) My first idear was shared memory but thats not the Case. Pull all Grafi settings to minimum and retry it it should work from my point of few.
