Fatboy Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Will it be possible to play historical campaigns & battles with 'Dreadnoughts'? For instance could I play through selected campaigns using historical fleets with 'Dreadnoughts' similar to those in 'Distant Guns' & 'Jutland'?
Niomedes Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 (edited) I mean, it would already be pretty cool to just have some historical battles akin to what the total war franchise does in the game. Edited October 9, 2019 by Niomedes
Nick Thomadis Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 We cannot offer fully detailed historical battles, because we will have to fully recreate all involved ships, accurately and our game is not about that. But, we can certainly make scenarios based on those historical battles, plus allow you to try different designs, different possibilities in each time you play. 2
Fatboy Posted October 12, 2019 Author Posted October 12, 2019 Sounds good enough. I assume players will be able to develop scenarios & share them with others? This would allow for the creation of historical content with taxing the developers.

With the designer tool, isn’t the game about changing history! 🤨
ExGavalonnj1 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Could there be a mode where you design every ship on both sides for a custom battle?
Fatboy Posted October 17, 2019 Author Posted October 17, 2019 (edited) Surely the design tool is about allowing players to design their own ships of all types. Now if I choose designs that are historical why wouldn't the game support that? I am also still not clear whether the game will allow the user to design, save & share single battles or campaigns with other players. Edited October 18, 2019 by Fatboy
