I have 224 hours in this game, I decided to stop for a bit and months later I came back. and all my gold and xp was gone, and i read that people got a compensation, i didn't get anything...

In port on top right there is a menu item for rewards and stuff, you should see the Pandora redeem card there if you have it. Not sure who got it or not.

As the game was released from Early Acess on June 13th and there was a release wipe.

Pvp server was completely wiped, pve server was partially wiped:

War server

• Full reset:
  • Everyone starts fresh from clean slate. Only clan lists will remain intact. 
  • Tutorial progress will be reset

Peace server

• Partial reset:
  • Rank, Crafting rank, Knoweldge slots and knowledge books will remain 
  • Everything else will be wiped, and tutorial progress will be reset. 
  • Compensation ships for latest server problems will be added on launch as a timed redeem
