I'm sick of these people that run away from battles. Maybe get a faster ship? It was like last night when some Russians where in our waters and tagged some of our guys grinding ships. We all know that Cart port battle will be today and they be in the area. No use chasing them cause we all know they where in fail fit speed boats when we had heavy grinders in that area. Dock up and go play some where else or get a faster boat to chase them down. If they are escaping your not fast enough. 54 minutes ago, Raf Van Boom said: If it's Tortue it is the foxes doing it Never understood why folks bitch about getting tagged over there, it's a PvP hot zone. Even when pirates and it was a great run for trade goods from Mort, some one gets tag we would say, "Should of brought an escort, you all know it's a PvP hot zone for hunters." Feel this way about any one that gets tagged by HOT FREEPORTS. Don't be crying for help, it's not the capital waters.

Farrago Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) Although I doubt the original suggestion would ever be considered and sounds more like a bit of light trolling, I'll register my No vote as well. If I could see from port the ocean right outside the harbor, I'd take a look, spot a Dutch Snow, and order another round from the bar wench. It just doesn't work with our OW/Battle/Port all being separated instances. Maybe in NA 2.0. Lol Edited September 8, 2019 by Farrago 3

Since he didn't bother to respond to any of the questions why this is proposed, we can safely assume it's just another selfish request for 1 player to have the game specifically tailored to only their own playstyle - screw gameplay, common sense, history of EA, or anyone else for that matter. It's a griefing perk, nothing more. 5
Atreides Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 The image of Greg as that little black puppy is now how I will view his snows. 1

And if we are hell bent on removing options to flee or evade ... why exclude traders? 1

If we just unplug the servers... the game can die immediately instead of having to keep brainstorming ways to strangle it slowly! 3
Raf Van Boom Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 If you didn't have to 'pop out' to see what's out there and could see it from the dock view, you'd get your wish, no more 'dockhopping'. 4
FKL 1982 Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Oh so many people that have lost far bigger ships to Greg's tiny Snow and yet still claim he is only capable of hunting trader brigs
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Master Gregory, drop yer Snow and show us some love for other less used vessels Sir. You can do it. And you can do it with the Mercury. I'm sure of that.

Yes, definitely; gankers need a bit of assistance, as I understand there are one or two new players still afloat somewhere. Why don't you also propose that any player with less than 6 months longevity or sailing a ship below 5th rate should not be allowed to purchase any guns and should receive constant damage while in the Capital Zone? 1
Sea Archer Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 As long as you cannot see from port what is going on outside, dockhopping is a valid way to ensure the sea is clear. 3
Sneakyfinger Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 This is a great solution to a non problem.
[MCC] Die Antwoord Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Give us the ability to see the ships at sea while we're docked and you have a deal.
