vren55 Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 So I have a i5 and a Nividia GTX 960M, would I be able to run Ultimate Admiral? I"m asking because I loved civil war and would love to get into the EA but I obviously don't want to buy it if my current setup can't handle it.
Atreides Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 I am not sure about Ultimate Admiral. I play Naval Action, and one of my computers has the same exact processor and Video card. Naval Action on Medium Settings with a stable FPS of 45, in large battles it drops to 30 at times. I do not think Ultimate Admiral will be more graphically taxing than a battle instance of Naval Action. Hopefully this gives you reassurance about your rig's performance for the game.

That's what I would think because my rig can handle stuff like Total War Three Kingdoms... but again, it depends on the optimization. What's the current refund policy for Ultimate Admiral?
sterner Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 It must run, especially existing naval battles. We are going to focus on optimization when Backer Build Three is released. Massive land battles mostly depend on CPU frequency now. Regarding refund politics - any refund request considered individually.
