Things that are no longer in the game that you miss and wish would return.

I really miss the shallow water port battles up in the Bahamas. No 5th rate but just heavy rattlers, niagaras and things like that. Attacking ports without having to worry about frontlines up there.

I miss the times before PvP marks and combat medals, back when people PvP'd and captured ships because they wanted to, not because they got a shiny coin that had to be used for "better mods."

I miss the era of durabilities based on the rate of the ship.

I miss being able to both see who my enemy is and talk to them in the OW without having to ask first in global.

I miss flags, it could have been improved instead of scrapped.

I miss Naval Action before the Thickness Meta.

I miss seeing and chatting with foreign players in OW more than anything.

• crafting barrels and gold coins,
• NPC reinforcements near KPR,
• AIs delivering Goods and Resources,
• increasing my labour wallet limit by crafting things,
• exciting forum posts filled with hopeful enthusiasm about exploring, treasure, and economic trading, and
• using F11 to get co-ordinates.

I miss the 2016 crafting, making oak logs to planks, coal and iron to ingots,...

I miss the time when you could give your ships one mod like extra planking, i had a great live oak pavel with extra planking, capable of fighting any ai first rate...

I miss the small traders, trade cutters and trader lynx, that especially for new players a good income.

I miss the time when only 6th and 7th rates could enter shallows.

I miss the higher number of free towns.

It seems I miss most of the 2016 game content....

Some things have definitely improved, in an ideal world we would combine those with the things, that were better in 2016.
