Switched ship and automatically sunk previous ship

In the battle instance I switched over from my snow to a traders snow.

Once I'd moved over, the snow was automatically sunk.

I would really appreciate the snow being replaced. It was a gold 5/5 with full Nueva Barcelona port bonuses. Can't remember mods other than copper plating.
