Hi all
A suggestion to help improve the game for new players and save them a big trouble early on
Can we think of a mechanic where when we attack and fight lonely traders we can give them there ships back in the end ?
so far i have been capturing lonely traders , brigs etc.. with nothing just doing missions. its a pain for them and i don't relay care that much but wouldn't it be better if i see they got nothing that i can releas them on there happy way ?

its not the cost that's important
its the time it takes to do missions , for new players its much its mostly transport cargo or people anyway so ...

It’s not instantly, it’s 10 minutes (3000 real per minute)

There should be a mechanic so that when we board someone we have the option to take their loot, but also an option to release the ship and captain. It happened in IRL, rarely, but it did happen.

I've been fortunate enough to find sympathetic raiders recently.  Twice I've asked to pay a ransom, and the raider met me at a free port where I fulfilled my promise to pay.

It would be so much easier if the Devs would allow trading between nations, both in OW and in battle instances.

Allowing prey to pay for release would make the game much more interesting.  It would allow for more content.
