Asdwdsa Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Hey Guys I saw some really nice videos about this game and want to buy and play it now. Unfortuneatly i have a really crappy PC that cannot run a lot of games. Here are these things i have in my comupter. ( whatever my english is not the best) - 4GB Ram - Intel® Core i3-2370M CPU @ 2.40GHz - 64 Bit System - I have DX11 I dont know where I can see if I have this Shader 5 thing but I hope this helps you to be able to answer my question (just some random information : I can run War thunder on low Ultra low graphics. Maybe that helps) I dont care if u have to play this game on min graphics. I just want to play it
Flurgh Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I believe that if you can run games with DX11 you can also run games with shader 5.0 since you can't use DX11 without shader 5.0? Don't quote me on, I just think this is how it is.

Looks like you have a labtop but try to find out if you have a card or you're running integrated gfx. 1
BungeeLemming Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I made THIS VERY THREAD for just the kind of problems& questions you face
Asdwdsa Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 Its me again. First of all i want to thank you guys for your quick and good answers.???? According to this website my intel core i3 bla bla only supports shader model 4.0 so this means i cannot run the game right ? https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/hd-graphics-quick-reference-guide
Lucas Corso Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 It is your graphic card not the processor which is important. It appears you have an integrated graphic card which doesn't support shader 5. The easiest way to fix this is to buy a card which does support it and install the card on your motherboard. Something like an NVidia 650 or thereabouts.
DanielCoffey Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Lucien - many of these integrated GPUs that are being discussed are on laptops so are not upgradeable.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Just depends on the machine Mr. Coffey. Some may have an expansion port on the board that allows a mobile NVidia GPU to be slotted in (such as the Latitude I play on), but in general, you're correct.
Prater Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 No, if you have DX 11 it doesn't automatically mean you have shader 5.0. @ the original post - Post your graphics card specs, that's what we need. The issue is when dx11 gets installed when the card only supports dx10. Its me again. First of all i want to thank you guys for your quick and good answers. You have to have a chip that runs dx11/SM 5.0.
