Nope, admin already proposed a better solution - an option to challenge the clan if they don't want to close it at Your request.
PB within nation for who controls the port.

He also first brought up the fact that they could limit sub region ports can't be flipped unless clan is on the Capitals friends list.  Other wise they can't pull missions.  This would keep from alt or annoying clans from just flip ports real fast to claim one.  Though I do think an economic sabotage means that a nation can do so would be good too.  I think it needs to be a multi clan vote thing so to not just have big clans pushing little clans around.

Unless it's a trade ship, I would love to see a DLC trade ship.

I'm not sure if I'd like a DLC trading ship; unless maybe it's very big or serves a special purpose (maybe like a fore and aft with a larger hull). Making and selling T-brigs to people who afk sail and get ganked is my main source of income it feels like haha.

I would go with maybe an Indman Refit (like the LVG has a refit...hell just put the LVG Refit as a DLC).   That way it might have a few more guns, but say 3K or 2.5K cargo space instead of 4K for an Indianman Refit.

  Yah we don't want to hit into the market of trader brigs and such.  The only other thing is maybe a trader version of the LRQ.  Very low crew but holds 1K cargo and doesn't have the extra guns on. (Remove the 2lbs chasers and maybe have smaller guns on the gundeck).......just would like to see something other than war ships.

What was changed in todays patch? 50+mb

EDIT: I see that trimming expert is 4 degrees now (it was 3)

Lets try to keep some reality in the game. Yes storms happened while ships were at sea. But very rarely would captains engage in combat under such conditions. The likelihood of loosing a mast or flooding would have been far too great. They would be more concerned with keeping their ship afloat than engaging any foreign vessel that they might rarely encounter in such conditions.

Some rain in battle with the mild/moderate seas we already have would be okay. But certainly not tropical storm/ hurricane conditions.

also new (on PvE server) as of today:

1) ships from elite notes can now have crew bonus 

2) ships from elite notes can now have special trims like eg Black Sea refit (they had trims like crafted ships only before)

Since DLC ships now get Port Bonuses, maybe its time not all AI ships are crew space? Also btw the repair cycle for Rum doesent show, it only shows for Rig and Hull, and it doesent show on the normal ship card, only on the popup card in port which makes no sense

I dont know what you mean with the normal ship card but i miss the info on the equip window too.
