Tomky Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Hello, Im wondering how exactly is damage dealt by shooting enemy calculated. For example Agamemnon's broadside damage should be (26x125 + 26x104 + 12x65) 6734 which is clearly not the actual damage dealt to enemy with succefull broadside. the actual damage is much less maybe 2-3k per broadside. does anyone know these damage mechanics?

You calculate numbers for both broadsides. Divide by 2 for one broadside. Distance also plays a role even if it pens.

That's why first broadside doesn't hurt that much, especially on tanky ships. So double ball is more effective in the lte fight?. So first go balls and than for final blows double?

Another thought you have to consider if that the damage of the ball is reduced based on distance.
