Unable to install; Microsoft C++ issue

I have the launcher downloaded on my pc, and have moved to install AoS on my 2nd harddrive. However, I am repeatedly prompted to download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable. I downloaded it, and it asked me to restart my pc. Upon reopening the launcher, I am prompted to begin installation again, but I'm asked to "download" Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable again. When I open it, I'm asked to either repair or uninstall it, even though it should have been properly installed the first time. I can repair it, but I'm stuck in this loop now; it keeps prompting me to repair it and I can't continue the installation until this is taken care of, please advise!

There is known issue when 2017 redist is downloaded and installed few times. Sometimes it happens 2-3 times, but we are not experienced with loop. We will try to reproduce your case and to develop a solution.

I had this problem too and I think i just clicked cancel and it started installing

I managed to get it to start this time, I opened the 2017 redist prompt and canceled out of it before asking it to repair and the game started downloading, thanks!
