Koltes Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 As per subject, does anyone know how much does one clan have to invest into port in order to keep the port bonuses after being moved off the friends list of the port owner clan? Interested in numbers. Cheers
Tom Farseer Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 If it is a building you built (e.g. teak forest in an invested port) you keep it even after being removed from the owner's friend list. Any other investments you can no longer use.
Angus MacDuff Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 This is a major flaw in the system which I warned about earlier. Clans only have 15 (??) spots on friends list and this can cause some grief. Additionally, another clan can donate a large amount of resource into a port, only to be removed from the list and have nothing to show for it and no redress. What we need is the ability to buy into the port with the owning clan so that even if no longer on their list, they have vested rights to the bonuses. It shouldn't be cheap though. Since the owning clan makes an enormous investment to build up bonuses and fortresses, a clan who is "buying in" would need to pay (for instance) 10% of the total investment. This might encourage smaller clans to group together and eventually show a profit for the owners. 3
Sir Texas Sir Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 What they need to do is either make that list larger, say at least 20. Or better is make two list. Make a PB friends list for PB and than have a list for crafting friendly clans. You might not have all the same clans that use your ports for crafting as that might show up for a PB to defend. If your to have two list I would make the crafter list per port. So that only the clans you have on that ports list can use it. As this will help with regions where part of the nation is in that are but not in another. 1
