Wrecks weight WTF?

Ok, isnt it a bad mechanic when you go after trader brig wreck on a trader brig, just to find that for some magical reason that wreck was carrying 2270kg of cargo, while all your brig can carry is 1700...
Further more, isnt it a bad mechanic that you cant over load your ship and then dump what you dont want? Isn't that logical?
Further more, isnt it logical that you dont have to choose to take everything from a wreck? Isn't it logical to have a slider of the amount of each type you wanna take? 
Further more isnt it a bad mechanic that you can take 3 Trader Brigs with you in a fleet and have no ability to redistribute wreck cargo among st them?
