Chustler Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Such an exciting list! I am going to be pretty wound up each time a new patch drops. 1
Balck Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 This Nomenclature gives more than 10 La Renommée, with several good candidates : http://threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=ships_search See here and here I hope to see the one from the Pallas class by Sané, launched in 1808 and later captured the RN. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Java_%281811%29 Yes, we really do need more Sané ships. 1
akd Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I too very much hope the Pallas-class 1808 La Renommee / HMS Java is planned. 1
Mahlitz Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Damnit All this.. Now i won't be able to sleep the next few months 1
Taki1980 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hope that the FOcus on Gameplay and Open World Aspects first. Then new Ships. But im very excited about the List.
greybuscat Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 What we have now demonstrates their commitment to gameplay. The real question is whether we'll someday see implementation of the La Belle Poule hairstyle. 1
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hope that the FOcus on Gameplay and Open World Aspects first. Then new Ships. But im very excited about the List. That is making the assumption that the folks working on ships are the same folks working on other features. They may be able to mainly work in parallel. 1
Robert Danforth Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 +1 to the HMS Java. What a ship. Finally, a British ship that was captured, instead of the other way 'round like so many others in game.
Devante del Nero Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 24 hours large battle map with respawns, and shore defences O_O You can't mean a 24 hour long battle? I just... don't have the stamina X_X
Triksterr Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I believe they mean you can come and go as you please for 24 hours or untill the objective is won.
Robert Danforth Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 O_O You can't mean a 24 hour long battle? I just... don't have the stamina X_X I don't have that problem. Anyway, that's what Lieutenants and Midshipmen are for!
Morashtak Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 O_O You can't mean a 24 hour long battle? I just... don't have the stamina X_X Or in-game time that is sped up a bit from real time so we have to plan on fighting, or not, during the night. Hopefully with more environmentals (mist, fog, rain, terrain detection and collision, etc).
MarcoRossolini Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Can't wait! The Open World deal I'm super excited for. Really looking forward to cruising in my frigate.

Seriously, don't let them even design an icon. If we were any good at art we'd spend all day drawing pictures of members of the opposite sex wearing very little clothing. 6
312_JS Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Great news! Can't wait! Thanks a lot for your hard work!
ArlindoBerto Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 24 hour long battles, hmmmmm interesting, i only hope it works propperly. About the customisation, keep working on it. Will the ''modules'' improvements be correlated with studied situations? or right now will be predefined ''invented'' ones? Generally, good work on this transparency, it keep us all informed on what we might expect. One suggestion, if you can, post the sources of information, books, maps, etc..
Balck Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I think what 24 hour battle means is persistent battle instance, day after day after day. See WW2OL for example. I'd assume that people spawn on either side depending on ship/population as the match maker does now. So rather than waiting for a battle you simply pick your ship and jump in. When the objective(s) is/are achieved then the battle/campaign resets.

I'm a fellow in the industry as well, and yes, you're absolutely correct on that one.
Astral_Eclipse Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Every thing sounds so interesting, I can hardly wait to see it

Chalis Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 It seems that this game is going for the large world and huge fights that EVE online provides, that is a okay by me.
