Hope that the FOcus on Gameplay and Open World Aspects first. Then new Ships. But im very excited about the List.

That is making the assumption that the folks working on ships are the same folks working on other features.  They may be able to mainly work in parallel.

O_O You can't mean a 24 hour long battle? I just... don't have the stamina X_X

Or in-game time that is sped up a bit from real time so we have to plan on fighting, or not, during the night.

Hopefully with more environmentals (mist, fog, rain, terrain detection and collision, etc).

Speaking as a professional software engineer that makes his living from coding day in and day out, you absolutely do NOT want your coders doing art.

Seriously, don't let them even design an icon. If we were any good at art we'd spend all day drawing pictures of members of the opposite sex wearing very little clothing.

24 hour long battles, hmmmmm interesting, i only hope it works propperly.

About the customisation, keep working on it. Will the ''modules'' improvements be correlated with studied situations? or right now will be predefined ''invented'' ones?

Generally, good work on this transparency, it keep us all informed on what we might expect. One suggestion, if you can, post the sources of information, books, maps, etc..

I think what 24 hour battle means is persistent battle instance, day after day after day.  See WW2OL for example.  I'd assume that people spawn on either side depending on ship/population as the match maker does now.  So rather than waiting for a battle you simply pick your ship and jump in.  When the objective(s) is/are achieved then the battle/campaign resets.

I'm a fellow in the industry as well, and yes, you're absolutely correct on that one.  :)

As a computer engineer, 1000 times yes.
