Hail enemy ships on the OW, a request that has to be accepted in order for two parties to mutually gain info on each other, opening up potential for communication. Certain info that may be revealed, name, clan, rank, perks, ship info, knowledge slots, hold contents. Lasts for several minutes until regular hidden status is restored. Good for honest duels, RP, identifying new players. Indentifying friendly/allied players of other nations, keeps ability for someone to deny and remain anonymous. Vizzini Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 all of this could be achieved with discord out of game between the parties involved , easier to police it ourselves without asking the devs or mods to do it we are fast approaching the point where ingame chat is removed , far too many toxics and racists left to cause problems and in game reporting is too hit and miss if the same retards are constantly left to say whatever they wish to the detriment of the community #discord

We should be able to chat with all players. It promotes international trade and co-operation. We could have a hail feature for other nations and if an enemy chooses to he could refuse a chat request. This way traders could attempt to bargain with a raider, before they are tagged. Or foreign traders could try to arrange mutually profitable deals. Those who hate chatting with enemy could refuse the hail. The ignore function should work in battles. Seeing toxic chat should be optional not mandatory. 2
