Even if they do it is not that difficult to do. Just being efficient taking what is around your area you can do alot of it AFK, im cooking dinner and responding to this post is more work then a delivery mission. The issue is they are really hollow overall, you can just surrender and move on, the boats are easy to replace and because of this, there is actually 0 impact on the game, not paying taxes not having to fight and survive.

Majority of people can't "do" that. They can certainly get a lot of doubloons over time, but your friend seems to be in that top 1% area. Lets not nerf stuff just because the 1%ers seem to be able to take advantage of it.
