Where have all the La Renommée disappeared to? I never see them in NPC fleets any more and I'm just sitting on a mission so close to completion that I don't want to delete it...just in case.

It's a pity you can hardly see this beautiful ship.

Before the changes I saw many different ships e.g. in the PZ.
Now I only see Hercules, Pandora and Rättvisan......what a pity

The only question asked here is: are "rare ships" adding fun to game?... My personal answer is no. I am so lucky and feel so good seeing all my favorite ships hidden behind the permit wall (obliging me to go to patrol zone, where I rarely find any fun, or never to sail again my favorite ships). Some are in addition hidden behind random: no way to get them anymore.

Apart from all the good sides of this great game it hurts me too to experience this artificial rareness of some ships. Hopefully one day we get the Renommee back. Not buffed, but simply available again. Please! PS Mr. v.d. Decken: i finally got a permit lately :)

we are looking into ship rarity as the mechanic as we speak. They will be most likely sailed more by the Elite NPCs in the open world too (in addition to chest permits)

I don't get the ships they picked where some of the most popular ships and with no way to get them other than PvE grinding.  I loved the Reno myself but when this last one sinks it will be my last one for a long time.

If the normal is suppose to be Oak/Oak than the normal AI needs to be balanced against this. They seem super beefed up in the 1st rate hostility missions, not epic even level but pretty beefy. If we are going to go after some elite 5th rate than we might be in trouble, just to capture a rare ship we want to sail and craft?  It better have some special paint too.

Dear admin, two questions in this context:

1. Will the ships of the Elite NPCs (< 4th rate) be capturable by players and

2. Do the Elite NPCs also sail only Wood/Crew ships or also other combinations?

Thanks in advance

TY. I just find it sad to see so many Surprises that I thought were "rare" yet no beautiful Renommees.
