The introduction of build able forts and investments is a great addition to the game, however i think this new system should be accounted for in the Port battle no hostility timer. i think the current 24hrs is not enough to allow for the movement and organisation of goods to build port defenses - i believe that it should be extended by 24hrs allowing 2 days for the port to "re-organised" after being capture.

It's way more than 24hrs currently. More like 3 days, 4 if you timer block.

Not in the case of a sucessful defense.

 Successful Defense is 2 days, Attack is 3 days cool down.  Never understood while attackers got a longer cool down than defenders.

It's definitely not enough time to build/rebuild forts. However, imo, I don't want to restrict even more. IRL an attacker would not allow for rebuild, but this is just a game, so I think the current 3/2 days should be enough of a balance to make the game feel ok. Will be hard for smaller nations/clans, certainly, but it's a good balance.

Has a fort even been destroyed yet? We don't know anything about them yet. Is it only destroyed in a PB and must rebuild or repair? Can you seige the port destroying the fort before a PB?

We have some built but they aren't showing yet so we assume they will show when server resets.  If you can destroy them in open world than that is buggy as hell with how expensive they are to craft.

That why any smart nation would have a stock pile of resources in the ports as a back up if any is destroyed.
