  • Total number of ports on the map: 378
  • Total number of capturable ports on the mp: 378 - 48 = 330
  • Number of British uncapturable ports: 7
  • Number of ports GB currently owns: 87
  • Number of capturable ports GB currently owns: 80

80 divided by 330 is no longer 0.24 but now bigger than 0.5.

Hear ye, hear ye! Basic arithmetic soon to be obsolete! Numbers shall be arbitrary from this day forth!

Sorry, couln't help myself there... :D

Ah, but can they pay for the timers to that 50% of the map?

Some ports are very tasty.

Unfortunately, I can't visit all the ports because my navigation officer is drunk.

Some information may be missing or outdated. :D

Let me know when you are moving white oak. Can help with some.

If we can build rare wood plantations now, they should be either very expensive or low in numbers. Reduction of quality between woods still needs to be reduced.

Recource drop of wood should be removed completely as well. The amount of drop is too high compared to population, allowing hoarding huge amounts. Someone carrying 30k wood alone is insane.😊

Perfect illustration of a problem though.  One player has 30K whilst another has zero.

To be fair, do you know the amount of effort he did to gain 30,000 wood?

No I don't, but I'm sure it was considerable.  My point stands.  Up till now, some players would have very little chance of obtaining teak. Still waiting to see about growing our own.

Devs, we need to be able to erase / destroy the Port's improvements since as any allied clan can invest in the Port they can make mistakes and waste a lot of resources. Recall that not all can access ports of 55 points ....

NOPE. That means that when attacked by a foe you're going to lose to you can destroy all port improvements before they capture it. As it stands, as I understand it, they just lose a level and the new owner benefits from prior improvements.

Only delete or recover resources if the improve are not finished....

fair enough.  In that case, it should be that only the owning clan can build the ship Improvements and forts.  As far as I know (and I may be dead wrong here) the commercial building investments (forests and mines) belong to individuals (???)

As far as I understand it, a clan can control whether investments can be made by "clan only," or by "clan and friends."  Once invested, then individuals can buy the production facilities associated with those investments that are production-oriented, or benefit from the other investments like ship building, etc. as long as they have the appropriate buildings in place.

That's cool that we're making a step towards better balance of obtaining exotic wood.

However, the investments on f.e. Sabicu should be lowered, same as the delivery missions are cheaper in comparison to f.e. Live Oak.

Make the both points, and resources required variable - no sense there if planting Live Oak forest cost the same of Caguarian.

Why would I ever plant Caguairan if Live Oak forest cost exactly same?

Good. Thank you. Even if it heighten the gap between bigger organizations and smaller.

So giving a bigger headstart to those already completing ports?

I can understand it's complex... but this is giving further advantage to those already ahead.
