catchable ships

Could someone tell me until which line ships are catchable? , ofcourse in PVP server.

Answer depends on who you want to capture the ship from:
AI line-ships are not capturable. Only 5th rates and below can be capped from AI.

Player ships can generally be captured regardless of their rate. The only exception here are DLC ships (called "imported" ingame).

All ships can be boarded and taken over within the battle instance, however you lose all non-capturable ships automatically after the battle instance ends when returning to the open world.

On PvP server none except players, only on the PvE sever you can captured AI.  On PvP you can only capture 4th rates and below as long as they aren't DLC.  And only permited player ships of 4th rate and below

That’s not quite true, captured an AI privateer in my basic cutter on the PVP server a few weeks ago, after restarting. I’m not sure when it stops but I think you can capture AI up to 5th rates.

yah I'm half a sleep and left the AI part off, I don't cap AI ships so don't think of it much.

and that is why I said 4th rates and below, which would include 5, 6, 7th rates that aren't permited can be captured from AI.  Only player ships of 4th rates and below that aren't DLC or rare ships cane be captured.

That is not my understanding of the PVP server (but I've been wrong before).  Can you quote a reference for that?

Thanks for your answer Guys, i know that DLC are not catchable, my confusion came because this think that you said before, actually I haven't enough experience to catch a Indefatigable for example  to the IA ahahhah I think ill attack the ship whit someone else and let see!!!
