It's 35.99 for the Rat and 26.99 for L'Hermione in the US version of steam.

my point is you are paying almost full game price. They are paying half game price. Its clear its cheaper in russia but relative to the full game its 50% cheaper

I'm not going to accept the idea of spending weeks setting up the facilities and resources to craft decent 4th rates and then having some guy cash out 30 bucks and get infinite redeemable ones with any wood type he wants. I'm not going to accept the game's entire economy being destroyed by what I cannot describe as anything but a cash grab. I'm not going to accept that, I'm just going to stop playing this game. I've never wrote an angry review for this game or tried to sabotage it, but I'm not going to lie to myself about what it is or try to ignore blatant game breaking problems because I don't want to see it fail.

did you buy the first dlc ships?

Pixels grow faster in the fertile soil of the old "breadbasket of the Soviet Union"...  And you don't have to pay export fees.

Why are we paying almost the full game price for dlc and in russia only 50%?

C‘mon man, median income is much lower in Eastern Europe (around 500$ per month in Russia), don‘t go desperately looking for things to critize, focus on the in-game content.

I mean, you guys fear it might become a p2w? It already is!

I argued in favor of the first dlcs when they first came out, but everyone who warned of p2w back then was right.

Actually it's almost twice, I bought most my alts while it was on sail so I never paid more than 19-25 dollars for my copy of the game.  Oh and those are the sale price I listed since it's 10% off they are actually 39.99 and 29.99.

You dont understand.

Naval action costs as much as the Rat DLC in EU. Full game costs same as 1 DLC ship.

In russia rat costs 50% less than the full game in russia.

Please read what I said and compare the price. 40 euro is not dlc price btw. 40 euro is normally expansion pack price.

Naval action EU store is 37 Euro

Naval Action Russian Store is 20.48 Euro

DLC ship EU store is 34 Euro

DlC ship Russian Store is 9.79 Euro

Why are we paying almost the full game price for dlc and in russia only 50%?

I could have messed up my math but please compare the links I just showed you/

i think monthly salary in Russia is different than yours....so that could be expensive in Russia too

The more DLC ships released the worse it will get.

Pretty much what I am thinking, otherwise I would be almost fine with the new DLC ships. But I have this unsettling feeling that they will keep adding more DLC ships until the sandbox / craft / economy side doesn't matter anymore and it will be like wows but with 40 bucks base price and mandatory premium ship purchase, unless you want to grind and craft your ships all day, while everyone else just clicks a couple of times and poof there is their fleet...

What about Christian VII and Diana? Are they craftable or the next DLC ships ( serious question, I haven't seen the permits in admiralty )?

its besides the point anyway. I disliked them for what they were when we only had the 2 6th rates as DLC. No matter what happens now I will never sail those ships because of what they are. To bad because I would die for the Rat. I love 60 gun ships so much :(

It is ridiculously overpriced in my opinion and dlcs are killing off the trade/craft aspect of the game. Might as well reduce the ow to Jamaica now and have all nations capitals there: shorter distances for dlc ganking squads.

But couldn‘t care less if Russians get to buy a little cheaper ...

It seems that the "richest countries" don't mind paying a DLC at the price of the game when all the others pay less.

and to compare to other games for reference.

Both EU and Russia pay 25% of the full game cost for the dlc in ets2. That is fair.

Well I do because you are getting a 50% cheaper dlc relative to your income.

I wouldn't mind dlc ships as long as we are getting a steady flow of free craftable ships. A 5:1 to 10:1 ratio of craftable to dlc.

yeah I do because I dont like 10-20% players having to work less to play the same sized ship.

This are the stats of the Rattvian.
Look at the guns it can take.
Worst 4th rate ever IMHO:

you know the stats are not why many players are complaining. They are not what makes them p2w. Anyway you glad you spent 34 euros for the worst 4th rate ever? Remember next time you sail it that it costs the same amount as the rest of the ingame ships combined :)
