I think you answered your own question, mate... Rare wood wouldn't be "rare" if it was easy to come across... The balancing job is: How much "better" should "rare" wood be? 1

Not that cargo weight would be adjusted to avoid stacking 10 missions, no. This was expected and wanted. (moderated) A 800 units cargo item. Why? Why take away the possibility to fulfill those missions on smaller traders? I mean 100, 200 would have been enough... What a shame. Edited March 28, 2019 by Hethwill Respect, Sir. Respect. 3

Archaos Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Just now, Graf Bernadotte said: Have you ever tried to collect 50k doublons by delivery missions? I did it and had to sail around 10 hours over the whole map. Only to get 5k Teak? I decided it was not worth the effort an kept the doublons until today. 😄 I have, it is what I have done mostly since the patch dropped and so far I have redeemed 25k White Oak, 10k Live Oak, and 15k Sabicu from clan resource missions. So I know exactly the effort required to get them. With the changes today that becomes even harder to do so supply of rare woods will be even less. If you thought collecting doubloons was hard before you would not even bother attempting it now. You may eventually get enough by doing group missions, but to get as an example 2.7k doubloons from a group mission limited to 3 people in max 3rd rate facing 2 first and 1 third rate, it is going to be a hell of a PvE grind to get to 50k doubloons. 2

What is almost impossible for San Augustin and Bridgetown, since they have night timers and there is not a single night RvR fleet left in game. I thought Teak dropped at New Orleans, but anyway I have plenty of WO, its just despite the whole area of ports GB has not one as far as I can see has a Teak clan resource.
Meraun Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 1 minute ago, Archaos said: Teak only drops at NO which is not an open port so I cannot place orders there. yes but you can still by it in a Tradership 2 minutes ago, Graf Bernadotte said: Because I'll never use sabicu ships. 😎 Well then buy wahtever Ship you use?
Baptiste Gallouédec Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Doesn't protection zone were there so a nation loosing hard the RvR game could gather and haul safely the ressources needed to rebuild a fleet ? If i remember well new players retention was not the n°1 priority at that moment. Now a nation loosing or simply out of the RvR game can become even more camped in front of her capital with even less option to rebuild ? 2
Teutonic Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Can anyone actually put some screenshot of the new rewards for delivery missions? I want to see if they are even worth doing.

Captain Reverse Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 "Post about save zone" The Russian Empire does not have safe zones and is the most active pvp nation - this is a fact. Poland is a small country, but there again, all the players very often go to pvp. Prussia is again basically a pvp nation. (I will not remember about the timer, but yes, mostly there are pvp players) Coincidence? don't think and all this nation dont cry about dangerous life. Becouse we pick PVP server, not PVE. and ok, its hardcore nation, ok... But not hardcore nation have Capital Protected area, where all newsplayers have 100% DEFF zone. 6

For reasons more than that but you're right. Safezones or R zones, whatever you want to call them took what use to be the work of the player; to defend and protect shipping near the nation's capital, and put it into the hands of NPC reinforcements. We lost some content when the zones were added, I'll be glad to get them back because those capital area battles where not always the best battles, but it was consistent and if you had nothing to do PVP wise and didn't want to sail for an hour, you could do patrols (real patrols) at your capital. It's not much but that sort of thing is what NA should serve best, pvp actions with some weight behind it, not just monetary reward but a sense of accomplishment, like you've done something for your side. If @admin could create those situations around the map, not just at captials and not just freeports either than you'd have a pretty solid pvp/rvr scene. Edited March 28, 2019 by Slim McSauce 1

Dont be so damn lazy 🙂 You are talking about a wood that not many use and comparing it to the availability of one of the most used woods. There is only one port and how many nations, not everyone can capture the port at the same time. It would be easier to get an alt in that nation to get the wood, which defeats the whole point of the rare resource clan missions. 1
Guest Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 @admin so if i understand you correctly, if i sail victory with minimum caliber it will explode less then say a max caliber victory?

I'm not admin but...maybe? than again I don't think there ever is a good reason to have lower than maximum caliber with the way things are set up. I admit I haven't been in a prolonged Lineship fight recently, but it seems lowering your caliber to have a smaller chance of fire shipping is not enough of a reason to use smaller cannons. From my understanding as well that is what they mean. The smaller the guns the smaller the explosion.

I'm pretty sure the magazine is set pr. ship for biggest guns and isn't dynamic based on what guns you equip. 2

So that dynamic has not changed, just that now it is reals not dubs. Perhaps more of a blend of dubs/reals might be nice to keep this different than the cargo missions. But agreed, there may be less TLynxs on the waters in the up coming days as there only have passenger deliveries and no more cargo ones. The cargo deliveries have now become something that augments trading, which kind of makes sense as it is cargo. And frankly the money is pretty good given what i looked at this morning in reference to weight/distance/money. and one could just throw it in one trading route and take 8 less items of a trade good. Also, one could simply replace cargo deliveries with ones trading. Given the drastic change in dubs gathering, one would think that there needs to be some balancing of the dubs collection to usage ratio. Edited March 28, 2019 by Yehoodi 2

Needs tweaking to balance out the value. I would also include the PvP Medals as well need to revert back a bit. This is how I see it. Delivery Missions should get you reals with at times little doubloons. PvP Missions should stay the same. Kill missions should reward you with little PvP Medals. Rest of combat missions should revert back to pre-March 28th patch. Victory marks are ideal as is. @admin. This way the access to these currencies is viable rather than a few rare currencies and currencies that should hold value significantly reduced. Also will DLC be coming out this upcoming hotfix or next week? 1
VirtuallyIdiotic Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 @admin also didnt see any tweaks or additions to admiralty. Will those additions still coming this week or next week?
