I wish combat medals would go - I don't know why doubloons weren't good enough.

More specifically I wish combat medals wouldn't bar players from getting certain ships/mods. PVP rewards should be cosmetics.

Could not agree more. PVE exchanges should also have cosmetic sales, to balance out the difference between PVP~PVE. Since we can't actually pvp, or we can simply move those rewards towards patrol rewards and missions.

Same, again I don't see the benefit to splitting up the currencies every chance you get, I don't know of any other MMO that tries to do that, probably because it end up being extra convoluted when you can just have 1 monetary currency and say a reputation type currency that works for pvp rewards. Oddly enough the devs are quick too add another currency type but have never explained the benefit of doing it which leads me to believe it's one of those "trust us, we don't know what we're doing" type deals

Admin gave an explanation in this thread here... 

In my job statements like "proven industry fact" immediately triggers a request to submit corresponding documents for review and approval. And if you can't deliver, well...

But I guess gaming industry does not work like that.

There's something deeply wrong with crafting labor contracts. Think it takes something like 4 tools (1 tool costs 1500 reals), 300 provisions and 500 labor hours to craft one, which in return gives you... 500 labor hours. Right now with current refresh rate, crafting those became rather pointless. Is this working as intended? And if so, what are we supposed to do with em?

you sell them to those who need them. It's just the way to sell those labor hours to others.

Patchnotes updated

Hotfix 14th March.

  • PvP kills now grant combat medals for kills and assists (base on damage dealt).
  • Fixed the bug that was counting kills in tutorials for hunt missions
  • Clan delivery missions now deliver to your ship hold if you have no outpost int he city, even if you do not have enough hold space (this way you won't ever lose them if you exit the port by mistake). We also plan to add trading ship to basic NPC ship sales so you can buy it and add to fleet if to split resources between you fleet ships.

Will the prices for the rare woods be reduced someday? they are very high

we get medals now for kills and assists

we dont need pvp hunt mission anymore.

  • Small ships (4pdrs and 6pdrs)
  • 9-pdr ships : Niagara, LRQ, Hercule, Cerberus, La Renommée, Pandora and Surprise.
  • Bigger frigates
  • Sols

But, so many are talking about them though. How many posts about LRQ, Surprise, Herc, Ship DLC, shallows, etc. compared to those about Sols ?  🙂

We are talking about missions.

PVE missions would be nicer with non-Sols divided as such :

  • Small ships (4pdrs and 6pdrs)
  • 9-pdr ships : Niagara, LRQ, Hercule, Cerberus, La Renommée, Pandora and Surprise.
  • Bigger frigates

It'd be interesting to know whether 6th rate kill missions are popular among PvE-ers on both servers.

I"m pretty sure they are broken up like that.   Since it use to say 1st rates and such....now it says Rank 1, 2, 3 I assumed they just put 1 2 3 instead of linship, frigates and shallows for localization.
