Audacious Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) @admin Here is an example why we need more depth to economy and why NA is not there yet. Taken from a book "Six Frigates'. It contains extreme details. Edited February 13, 2019 by Pirate78 3
Macjimm Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 That type of writing creates a delicious urge to start up NA and do some trading. Thanks for sharing lad. 1
van Veen Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 We need expanded economy and more depth to economy. But I doubt we need more products. There are already plenty and it's more than enough imho. Make towns dynamic, make towns pillageable, give clans control over town economy, make NPC traders and players matter for town economy.
Potemkin Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) Six frigates was an excellent read. Agreed with OP on econ diversity. Idk how much can really be done as far as crafting econ goes considering how much its swung back and forth over the last few years between more and less in-depth but something should be done about trade goods being funneled to a few player through contracts. A wealthy player (with alts) can utterly dry up whole regions of any worthwhile trade goods. I hope upcoming trade changes on the agenda address this, perhaps eliminating buy contracts for trade goods entirely. Edited February 13, 2019 by Potemkin 1
