Azenya Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 I know this will not get read by any devs, but I have to get it off my chest. This is regarding the PvE server! I really like to play coop - after some time AFK (more than a year) I thought I was going to try the game out again. After some time I finally found another player to play coop with - here are my experiences: The one who doesn't click attack on an OW target, need to sail to a different circle to join. This means that you start ages away from the other player. Last time I played we started next to each other. The AI is NOT restricted to the same physics as I am. They break and turn at an unrealistic pace. You need to sail around for 30-40 mins to even find a target because there are no NPCs anywhere or they have a +12 fleet. This is a general problem in solo play as well. I really wish you guys could figure a way to distribute the towns in the game. Why not make port battles available - and let the AI defend if another nation wants to capture it...? A static world is boring - and not an incitement to join the PvP server to get ganked as soon as you leave the port.
Anolytic Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Hi @Azenya. Welcome back. 15 minutes ago, Azenya said: The one who doesn't click attack on an OW target, need to sail to a different circle to join. This means that you start ages away from the other player. I don't really know about the PvE-server, but assuming it's mostly the same as on PvP-server, being in the same battlegroup and being in the attack circle when the attack happens should ensure that you both get dragged instantly into battle in your relative positions. If the other player is out of the circle or from another nation, he would have to sail to the reinforcement circle. 15 minutes ago, Azenya said: You need to sail around for 30-40 mins to even find a target because there are no NPCs anywhere or they have a +12 fleet. The game gives you some hints in the mission logbook, and you can sail around the map to learn where the good hunting spots are. There are still smaller fleets and solo AI, but your best bet for those might be to select Kill missions from a port. Edited January 21, 2019 by Anolytic
