Anolytic Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 (edited) I found the Bermuda Triangle, and it is near Aves - surprisingly: Another view of the same bug, from my alt: It's like the attack goes through, but the battle instance simply doesn't start, and instead both ships get kicked back into OW after about 2 minutes. I was streaming a movie at the same time without issue, so this was not a network issue - on my end in any case. As far as I can tell, the Dutch player is still sitting there next to Aves docks. I sent an F11 from my main account. Apart from the time wasted, the frustration of finding a player in OW and not being able to attack him to the point of just having to leave him be - is extremely frustrating. Marquês do Bonfim Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 I'm pretty sure this was caused by your ping and not the game. If you look at your ping, it's showing Ping: 0. You engaged and your friend engaged aswell, you probably got the attack timer first so when it loaded the instance, your internet didn't go through it at all, hence the disappearing and popping up back at OW with Ping: 36. Probably a spike on your internet or something like that, idk.

I tried to attack 5-6 times and the same happened each time. Every time I attacked my ping went to 0 for a couple of minutes, then back up when I "respawned" in OW. Meanwhile my alt, on the same internet connection, had 36 ping. If it was like you suggest, then my alt, which was inside the circle, should have been pulled into the battle. I played several PvP-battles both before and after this instance, with no ping issues whatsoever. The dutch player was sitting there in OW with me watching, trying to attack, for maybe 10-15 minutes. He was still sitting there when I sailed away from Aves. He probably logged off earlier or something, or D/C-d, but his ship was stuck in OW.
Tomasso il Fortunato Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Yeah , + the Victory was with shes sails down .

May be the same Vic some clanmates found and tried to tag too. Moreover: 2 brits chased a Prussian Requin from Jamaica towards south shallows and she disappeared in the middle of sea. And it's not the first time I see too a ship I'm chasing disappearing in the middle of sea.
John Cavanaugh Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Ghost of ships ganked in past returns to haunt who sank them 😧 3
admin Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 seems like his ship or items corrupted which locked him in OW.. it can only be investigated and solved on tuesday 3
