admin Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Hello captains. Please report issues on the FPS and performance of the user interface in port. Do you have better or worse FPS? Do you have better or worse GPU loads. Does it work better or worse in general compared to previous versions of the game? if you have problems with overloaded GPU or CPU - please enable VSYNC.

And also now in battle instances. It looks as if the gamma values were screwed down completely. I use an ATI graphics card, if that play a role.
AeRoTR Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 (edited) I feel like port UI uses more GPU / CPU power than battle instance may be same, but as Port UI is a place where you are idle sometimes, lots fan noise makes feel like I wanna exit the game. I please request a frame limiter for port UI, just like battle instance/ow fps limiters in options graphics menu. Other than the very loud fan noise, for me port UI is silky as smooth There are reports of gamma values I heard on chat, I could not distinguish clearly. But port ui is a bit dark. Christendom Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Just ganked a wild @Slim McSauce in battle. No FPS issues. FPS on the port screen seems to be higher than it was before

Sir Texas Sir Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 (edited) I haven’t been able to check game since the other day before posted this (12 hour shifts before holidays). I know the frame limiter doesn’t work in port as I was getting 147 in port while on anouther acreen rock solid 69fps (with ow limited at 60). I might take the limiter off in battle. Open world was felling real choppy water wise though before patch and game as a whole. I’ll compare this morning when I get off work and post. I7 8700K CPU 32G RAM SSD drives for OS and games RTX 2080 game on max stettings. (Was running on an old gaming laptop with a 980m but using a graphic amplifier w 980 and can tell changes big time while that ran game fun just not multi copies.) So Microsoft as always on major updates probably unlocked all the useless functions and stuff and after turning all of them off, resetting PC, it started to work normally again. I also noticed that in the port, the ship model is very dark. found the issue Dark ship and pier is caused by a missing light source in port. Will be addressed AFTER we fix Ai sailing through land. Hold on 9
