Hi all!

I thought I'd share the profile I made for NavalAction in logitech G software.

It includes macros to.

  • Single fire cannon toggle (so it fires one cannon, waits and fires the next)
  • Repair armor (5-1)
  • Repar sails (5-2)
  • Set all cannons as Ball
  • Set all cannons as Chain
  • Set all cannons as Double
  • Set all cannons as Grape

You can find it here: (Link)

Suggestions are welcome :)

My suggestion is a promotion for that chap. Well done, Sir!

I have a Logitech programmable Keyboard as well, and have considered doing this on a smaller scale, but it seems to me you have it all worked out well. I do have a question though... How do I implement this on my keyboard? At the moment, I simply Add Macro, type the key sequence, then save it. I have never "received" a macro, and as such do not know where to insert it. (PLEASE ...don't be so rude gentlemen...I meant where to place the file in my computer!!!).

Presently, I have two "modes" Default mode, and World of Tanks Mode. If I simply create a new macro, it will overwrite my existing WoT macros (which are mainly text messages to teammates etc). Perhaps I can create a Naval Action mode as well.

Do I need to add this to Logitech Profile? How and Where can I do this? Also I couldn't find out which Keystroke would implement these macros. I have a G19 (I think) with 12 programmable keys to assign. Does Game Labs intend to make this game compatible with Logitech G series? There are many games already in there that have enhanced features.

Could you please either provide additional information here or message me in private? This is a great idea, and whilst I'm still learning, it would be invaluable to have, and once I progress into larger ships with more decks, it will prove to be almost a necessity.

It's only for keyboard as I don't have a Logitech mouse... But i guess you can still take the macro's and use for a mouse buttons? :)

To import my profile you do this:

Open Logitech G program.

Then you go to profile/macro mode

Then you just clikc this button. (The folder -> import)

Find where you downloaded the profile too. (Make sure to download my link, not just open it)

Then you will need to set up the actual location of the game (it's proberly not located same where as my game is)

Click the game in the top bar (Properties)

Press the little plus sign and locate where the client.exe is found.

Then click OK and you are done :)

You can PM me if you want more info :)

A short text on how it works.

There are 8 macros - as described.

The set shot options are on m2 keys, and the other is on m1 keys.

I have the G600 mouse and the G930 headset, plan on setting them up so I can perform all combat actions on the mouse and free up my left hand for just maneuvering/manual sails. When I get it figured out will post my builds here.

TGDk,

Thank you very much for not only sharing all your good work with your fellow Captains, but for explaining how to implement it. Very well done indeed.

I shall take her for a spin later on, and report back.

TGDk,

I think your profile may not work (or not work the same) on my keyboard. I have a Logitech G19, and it has 12 G keys, yours has fewer. Nonetheless, you have spurred me on to make a few macros for my Keyboard. I do have one question though. I notice you have a "Naval Action" profile with game logo etc on your profile bar. I requested my KB to search for new games that have macros enabled, but Naval Action isn't one of them. I tried to create my own "Naval Action" profile but it needed something more, and I wasn't able to save it.

I could always click on M2 or M3 and add a default profile there, I think that will work, but I'm curious as to how you got a "Naval Action" profile with logo (the same as your WoT profile with logo).

Instead of clicking the folder, click the plus icon and use my "locate client.exe"  method :)

if you want, I can post my macro's here so you can use them too? you should however just be able to drag the macro's onto the correct buttons :)
