'Single player strategy game on land and sea operations in the age of sail' in the vein of the other Ultimate general ? 

Managing a fleet during battles ? Conquering ports ?

Will we be able to sail a single ship as in NA ?

Timeframe ?

I really wonder what the timeframe will be :

• wide like NA : 1680-1820
• medium : say the Anglo-French war or the Napoleonic wars
• or even narrower like the French campaign in Egypt and Syria (1798-1801)

and how many playable nations there will be. 🙂

Will there be scope for expanding on these two figures to include a more generalised campaigns in the future, say following for example the 7 years war rather than specific historic figures and their personal service?

It will get more dynamic than UG:CW, but still not global map/sandbox.

I for one would have prefered a 'generic' career vaguely inspired by the lives of several admirals, where you could choose your nationality (French, Russian, Barbary pirates...), your enemy, the goal and the location of the battle/war/campaign, say from a list (besiege Toulon like in 1793, raids on coastal villages if you"re a pirate, conquer Malta...), maybe even the name of your character, etc.

However I perfectly understand that the Ultimate series are focused on History, realism and reenacting real battles with real historical figures.

Only anglo-saxon Admirals ? Are they the only admirable Admirals ? 🙂

Add a campaign for US Constitution. That is a fun ship to sail the open waters with.
