Epic Events in shallows

We have shallow port battles and shallow patrol zones all good stuff, how about epic events for 6th or 7th rates?

Bien sûr, tu as parfaitement raison. Tout ces évents, tout rangs confondus, ne peuvent que pousser les joueurs (et notamment les nouveaux) à participer. L'idée me semble très intéressante.

for epic shallow i would suggest facing one or two 4th rate ship with escort fleet or something ike 10 indiaman escorted with frigates and cutters, but definitly not 20 rattle heavy or 20 surprises.

Just curious... are there any statistics as to how many deep water epic events are attempted/completed each week? It seemed to me that not many players are participating in epic events.

I bring this up because players are still asking for raids to be implemented and @admin's response 1 year ago was: "Raids are on hold. We will see how players accept the epic events. and if strong bots are interesting pve raids could become a reality."
