Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 There are no plans for an offline version of this game that I'm aware of. There is a lot going on behind the scenes.
yosnel79 Posted December 9, 2018 Author Posted December 9, 2018 would be better of offline... the game is literally dead.. online..

I think that a multi-player version could be fantastic if more options were added. Sailing sim, exploration, economy, construction, tools, instruments, advanced crafting, realtime gameplay, etc. I would appreciate if the OW was merged into a single instance, but I would miss the social; risk and opportunities, of the MMO. Ideally I like having the chance to switch between; single player, multi-player, and open gameplay, and still retain personal assets & XP. Frontier Development allows for seamless merging between all three types, and it works well. Providing flexibility and options works better than forcing everyone into somebody's personal favorite style of game. Edited December 9, 2018 by Macjimm
