Game-Labs is now on the list of game developers like Minecraft and Dreamfall Chapters that has experienced the PayPal wrath. What happened. PayPal has decided that we are selling too well and considered it strange. We have provided them with a pile of documentation ranging from Steam distribution agreements to urine samples, but they decided to freeze our account anyway. We are trying to reach them for explanations, but they are very slow and unsupportive. How you can help to resolve this situation. Please file the support ticket to Paypal asking to unblock Game-Labs LLC account mentioning our case number PP-003-614-057-132. It will help us and will actually help you, because in their email they said that it might take 3-6 months to resolve the issue. They say they blocked the account because they don't know if we will deliver the game. Next steps. We are on track to release early access on Steam and it seems that we are going there faster. Paypal has just facilitated the situation. Nothing changes for your ownership of the product, unless paypal decides to completely close the account and refund all transactions if we don't resolve the situation. ps. we know - some of you have warned us that paypal sucks. how to contact paypal support login go to contact us on the bottom of the page press email us choose option to send email: We believe that best choice is to select A) Disputes and then Buyer complaints. I would like to request that you unblock their account as I have received the game, have had it installed, and find that I have not been mislead in any way concerning its content. Please note that I had requested a cancellation of a previous attempt at an order with this company because of an error on my part in selecting an inactive method of payment. That transaction ID was REDACTED and my case number was REDACTED. I hope my error has not contributed to the freeze on the Game-Labs, LLC account. Game-Labs, LLC has delivered as promised and has shown superior customer support in informing buyers of the status of the Steam keys provided for the game. I really hope my screw up hasn't contributed to the freeze. Looks like I was lucky to get my key today.

What is theyr care about game delivering? Read agreement about paypal account service, if you haven't agreed on that shit, just intimidate them with court judgement. Loss of profit bc of theyr actions.

Problem though is that paypal usually doesnt give a shit and once stuff like this happens it drags out forever until people move on and find another way. Pretty sure that none of the massive screw ups like this by paypal that I have seen so far has ever been actually resolved or reverted. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

They then got cold feet and requested a refund from PayPal giving something like "Incomplete Game" as the reason for their request.

kaboki Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Unfuckingbeliveable . Im gonna cancel my Paypal account for sure, hoping that I never need their service again(never liked them anyway). I got my 40 dollars worth of game already, spent over 50 hours and thats more than I can say for other fully released games I bought in the past. Good luck Game-labs hope you guys figure a way to distribute this game without paypal.
