I shoot my cannons several times and i boarded and sunk a belle poule with only 2.4k of damage. Is that a bug, or only sinking a ship with cannons make damage to patrol count? Angus MacDuff Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 I instant boarded an AI TBrig and then sank him. Only got 500 damage points. I think boarding is not so good in Patrol. Better to sink him with cannon fire. 3

So i think that that is a bad mechanic in game.

The key for me as a newer player is that the damage mechanic, rather than rewards-per-sinking, is better for me in a group setting since I often won't have the biggest guns.

You have to do damage, not killing/sinking enemy ships. Shoot sails, hull, crew. 1
