AI fleet companion disappeared

so , i don't know if this is the right spot , but it's the support section so i guess it is , so i was raiding an ai gros ventre in the open world, but after the successfull boarding , after lefting the battle my indefatigable bot disappeared , even tho he was almost without damage? i don't have screenshots since i only noticed the fleet ai companion was missing only when entering back into port.

hi ink , i would like to add that this was before the patch of today , like 2 - 3 days ago , and i've done an ingame report trough the f11 keys some days ago , btw thanks for the assistance .
