Cmdr RideZ Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 We have got used to say LO/WO, Teak/WO, Fir/Fir. In the new ship statistic window you have the opposite. WO/LO. You should swap these to what we have got used to. It is not a big thing but neither it is a big thing to fix. 1

Friendly NPCs do not return fire and this opened up too many possibilities for ridiculous fishing. For example players were demasting decrewing friendly NPCs allowing the person on the other side to get easy kills and loot. Removing damage to friendly NPCs removed the exploit. 2

The old fix was lost of XP for damage, but it only took XP away from lower level chars. I don't want to to return cause being -1756 xp when your low level was not fun. It's just silly what folks go through cause the returns got to have been low, but if there is a will there is always a way....some one will try to exploit what every they can.

Koltes Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 (edited) Because of multiple window UI I would like to suggest that we have an option to adjust font size or better still resolution of the windows including icons. Having multiple windows open we are quickly running out of screen space. Don't know if this has already been mentioned. If so I totally support this idea of whoever posted it before me. William Death Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I've got a generic sink xx ships for fifth rates, one for Essex, and one for Renommee. I've noticed certain ports don't have missions for smaller ships (last I checked, Tortue had mostly 3rd rate+). So maybe it is regional?
Tomasso il Fortunato Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Can you make the reward in battle more big , why ? Because when I sunk 7 ships for 27,678 reals and my friend who sunk 2 get 20,000 and consum 37 repairs twice and 200 rum just to make my crew more than the AI ships , by not risking the board from them . I want a big reward because I can't afford , they (new players) can't afford to buy repairs , to hire crew to repair the ship and other thinks . The only possible think to do to get rich is to trade with 4 indiamans. 1

You were not meant too sink ships but capture them as prize
Rouleur Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Trading windows sometimes behave rather weirdly: on several occasions several slots become unusable whilst trading, reducing the number of separate items that can be traded and moving the items away from the slot you place it in. Not sure why this happens but it is definitely a little frustrating. 1

I have noticed this too, the first item you place in the trade window goes in the first slot, but when you place a second item in the second slot it shifts across to the third slot and when you put another item in it moves the second item onwards by one slot and you cannot but items into the empty slots between 1st and second item.

Palatinose Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 37 hull repair is 3200 reals in your capital (much less if you buy them via contract) 200 is less than 2000 reals. Your profit is over 20k reals without the loot. If you need money take your friend, sit on two warships and take an Indiaman in fleet each. 150k profit each for 30 to 60 minutes of time.

Requin would be two random 5th rates. That would give enough fire power most guys can fight back or try to escape. Green zones should never be easy hunting grounds. No sense in two, or three, of five frigates against lerequin cause of the NPC intelligence. AI don’t go with a sharp angle to wind....

AI don’t go with a sharp angle to wind.... If the Requin is going up wind tha. It’s not chaseing the trade ship/player it tagged. AI isn’t there to win the fight for you it’s there to help you stay alive or escape. A 6 lb medium will snap the mast of the Herc. So as long as you got guns on your trade ship you can fight back. AI gets unlimited chain shots. The problem with the AI that shows with a Requin is it’s a 5th rate by game standars crew and gun wise, but it’s a shallow water 6th rate so you get under crewed and gun AI that are useless. Toss two 5th rates and they will have a much harder time attacking you unless you just act like a noob. Point above about the 6lb was cause the other week I was tagged by a HERC while in a trade brig. He seemed like a very green player. I was able to snap his forward mast go with the wind and escape him. You kill the front mast on a Requin it can’t even stir. It’s stuck dead in the water. Learn to fight back and learn ships weaknesses.
Guest Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 @admin if i want to upgrade shipyard i have to put my doubloons from money chest to warehouse
AeRoTR Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Some small patches are being deployed, but we do not know what they are. We learn the new OW join timer while playing etc., I do not like this.
