Smugglers flag

Hi, Why cant i set the Smugglers flag on my " Indiaman" it is a trader.

As said above all trade ships can enter any ports.  The smuggler flag was removed when that was allowed.

In the new update we should have the possibility to set the smuggler flag on trading ships .

Interesting, I wish I could fly what ever flag was legal for what ever nations waters I was in... it would make my hunting a bit easier... too easy maybe, but hey, that's what pirates did, fly the preys flag until at point blank range and let fly the skull and bones. Worked most of the time from what I hear.

The players then hunting the pirate would need to know the name of the ship and captain to be sure of their quarry. Unlocks all kinds of interesting game play mechanics.

Also I think it would be easy enough to make a ship naming system that did not allow players to name ships after profanity. I am sure it could be done.

Any thoughts?
