RegularK Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 (edited) Hey devs, is this where you got the idea for manual sail handling? Saludos from Hartlepool, I just visited the HMS Trincomalee! By the way, you're doing a great job! There might be *thousends* of people with even more opinions on the game but in the end we all spend a lot of hours in the game - for one reason: to fire a thundering broadside into the enemy! Thank you and three cheers! Edited October 3, 2018 by RegularK 5
admin Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Yards turning feature was indeed conceived in a bar in Newcastle upon Tyne after the visit to Hartlepool. But that installation - did not exist then. Main influence on design was this book "Seamanship in the age of sail" Thanks for the kind words 2
