I don't think many are using the Trader Cutter anyway, opposite to Trader Lynx. You are showing a nice boat there, a bit rustic, which befits!

I imagine when given black sails and a less detectable hull paint, bristling with swivel guns and with a sound compromise of big crew and big hold like the Gros Ventre Refit has, this could become a specialized night raiding vessel, the "Pirate Sloop".

Didn't say it should have the same numbers as the Gros Ventre Refit, I pointed at possible emphasis in boat concept. Trader cargo hold, swivels, optimized crew for boarding unsuspecting traders at night time.

Right. But can do that already with any of the traders if you want, just missing the swivels.
