It gets better, I'm already starting to really like this new stuff and finding my way around. Character teleport between outposts seems a bit awkward I must admit. I do that A LOT so it feels off to dig up that dialog. In it's current form I get the same vibe from the testbed that I got from austerity patch. Takes time to get cash to build even a shitty old trader cutter!

"Notes" for skill books give a blueprint as to how to make it. Definitely room for confusion there. Recommend for the skill books something like a "Schematic" instead. 2. Clan UI is still the old one. Might not be on the docket to update, might have snuck by.

The bigger the port the more busy "city" the sounds, and the smaller the port the less busy the sounds and more of the birds and waves that we usually hear in OW. 5

Captiva Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 (edited) Beautiful artwork as usual! Here's few things that I noticed. 1. The 'snap to grid' when equipping cannons seems imprecise. I had to try a couple of times before they loaded into their slot. 2. Could we please have the compass/wind indicator while in port? Please?? 3. I agree wholeheartedly with Koiz and others who have noticed the utter silence when in port. At the very least we should hear shoreline waves breaking, seagulls and other signs of life that one hears at a seaport. Edited September 26, 2018 by Captiva 2

I would suggest a "show menu's/tabs" button that will hide all them or show them, and save the ones that you opened already. Similar to windows desktop. 9

On the Academy you get Labor Contracts, in the Forge you can craft cannons and in the Workshop you can craft consumables like repairs and upgrades instead of cannons like it was usually. z4ys Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 I did a "Kill" mission with a friend we both had one active for the same ship rate. We joined as grp but only 1 gets rewarded for the mission even the mission got more difficult

I would much rather prefer a approach like z4 suggested with the idea from AoE 3 etc

I emptied the generous cash redeemable setting up an operation close to what I have on live. I did one 5th mission (46k reals) for cash to extract fir and oak to click out a ship. It reminded me of getting started during austerity patch. Maybe I'm used to having so much cash that emptying a building doesn't matter for my wallet; That I have lost touch with the starting experience? The fact that I find the easy cash grinding to be the hardest thing to do is a matter of taste and has no bearing on eco/craft feedback. Like @Banished Privateer hints at: I can't crunch the numbers to know if this is austerity patch Mk. II, the second coming of easy money or somewhere in between.
