I deleted my character and created a new one, my redeemables aren't showing up now though? You know the ones with XP etc... Any workaround?

think they are gone, but you can do the tutorial to rank up

1. Thank you for adding the seaport sounds after entering port. I think I even hear the faint voices of townspeople in the back ground!

2. Do you have any plans for changing the Rig Repair icon so that it doesn't look exactly like the Hull Repair icon? The rum bottle is cool for Crew Repairs and I think that Rig Repairs deserve their own icon as well.

3. I'm still lobbying to have the compass/wind indicator visible to us when in port.

@admin  Honestly are you smoking something?  1-10 Doubloons to teleport ports?  What is some one doesn't have any and all there ships are at another port they have to sale across the map to get to them cause they don't have 10 Doubloons?  Not every one does missions and PvP's to get them.  You will effectively once again kill the casual/econ players cause of this.  AI doesn't drop CM any more and the only in game way I seen to get Doubloons is certain missions and PvP.

This isn't an issue for your hard core guys that PvP all the time but you need to think of the casuals that might not get any PvP or win ever, with not safe zones they can't even go out and do missions without getting jump half the time so that isn't a safe way to get Doubloons just to jump to a port and check there econ and do some crafting/trading if they want.

I'm honestly about to test this as a zero level char as since Sir Texas Sir account was logged on the Test servers before you open it to all I got zero redeemable (other than  DLC). So I have a zero level char.  Loooks like I'm heading to the shallows to kill some 6th ships just so I can telport and do my econ so I can craft.

I am not sure the new Tile look of items in the holds/warehouse is very easy to work with. I like the possibility to move the tiles around, group them together...etc, however, the downside is that I do not know what each tile is until I hover over it. If you compare the Tiles in the hold to the items in the store, when you look at each item in the store you know exactly what it is!

As far as charging doubloons for TP from one OP to another, I think it is not a good idea at all. I go back and forth between OP's looking for stuff I stashed away or trying to figure out what materials/resources I have in different warehouses, this will cost me a lot of doubloons just trying to find where I left my long 9 pounders!

If you are trying to limit people from sailing into an OP leave a ship there then TP to another OP to fight a battle or something, then give us the ability to look at all our warehouses from any given OP.

This whole testbed thing was moving along very well, the UI was coming alive...then this:

Please reconsider this last change and continue working on the UI just the way you have been until now.

Thank you.

Not sure one way or the other about the cost of teleport. I believe teleporting only has a place in a condition of low population. Assuming this game will have a decent population after release, I think it should be dropped altogether. Teleporting to do inventory of remote warehouses should be replaced by making those inventories visible from anywhere. Generally I like the interface in testbed.

Are we going to be able to lock several windows like we can do in the Open World? so we dont have to move each individual window if i would have to open warehouse and it pops up in an unconvenient space

o7 Hugh!

Making all your warehouses visible is the key. Like other posters I often jump back and forth for econ/crafting reasons precisely because I need to see where my stuff is. Otherwise I don't have a problem charging a small fee for the TP. That can be adjusted with a higher population as well.

This is what Admin posted in the port fee thread and then closed the thread for further discussion.

All posters/writers know from our TESTBED announcement that not all changes are on the test bed and we warned them about it.  Yet some still make their mind and write their comments without having enough information. This makes us  question feedback from those writers as we deliberately mentioned that prices and rewards are all over the place. Players should not waste time thinking on economy and price balance. The only two things are are currently interested in are interface and missions.

Transportation fees will remain, as they are good for the game as a whole (not for individual jumpers). Any further discussion is pointless with information at hand. Lets come back to it once all changes are deployed to live.

Tell me, how are we supposed to test things if you don’t give us the information?

I personally don’t like being treated this way, especially from a company that wants me to spend more money on their game. I do not see why anyone would play this game anymore after this statement from Admin.

Once they changed the layout for forts around harbours overnight. If I remember correct the next day was a PB at Flatts, Russians attacked vs Pirates or the other way around.

The discussion basically ended with devs saying: "You have to be smarth enough yourself to figure out these changes".

@Christendom was part of of the Russian side and he will probably remember more accurate what the devs said back then. There was also a thread about this issue, I think.

This again? You and some of the "super-testers" are upset over things (doubloons as teleport costs) though you have no idea how it's actually done. It was clear from the outset that the Eco on the testbed is not correct and only serves to test the UI. So it's just about the UI.

But your constant yammering and negative feedback annoys sometimes even the admin.

If it was to only serve to test the new UI, then that should have been the only thing to change.

We've tested the UI and given our feedback. The UI has been updated and improved. So because we were told to only test that then I expect that to be the only thing in the next patch. Or should we be hit by yet more surprises that piss peopoe off?

We have only asked for a further explanation as to what to expect, and we are told to just "wait until it comes to the live server." That's not how testing works, a comoany doesn't tell you to just "test our new device" they inform you of changes and upgrades and ask you to try certain features and give feedback for things they may not have seen before they announce it as a product. They definitely don't tell you to "wait until the new phone comes out."

Why don't you provide the real quote  - we take misquotes of our statements very seriously here. If you cannot find the quite please remove unproven statements from your message.

live server is also a early access server. UI changes are painful. and cant be changed on the fly. Thus testbed was absolutely required for the UI and missions. Economy changes are easier (especially knowing that there will be partial wipe on release of the game that will remove abnormal gold generated from mistakes in economy)

I do not care how irritated Admin gets at our "constant yammering" he represents a business that is trying to sell me a product. Not only this product but DLC and potential future expansions. Admin has a lot to learn about customer service and how to reasonably talk to his customers. I am a business owner myself and If i want to throw a customer out of the door, instead I ask what I can do to make things right. If I insult my customers I will lose them.

I will stop talking about Teleport fees when I am refunded for the Admiralty connection.

If we where to test only the UI, why do we have to make a rank and 10 crafting levels?  That is testing other things than just the UI (which no one complains about the missions great improvement by the way).  By doing the crafting we are seeing issues along with the teleportation.  We know the prices and rewards are very inflated which makes us  even more concern about when this goes live.

Hell I'll be willing to go to a closed test and sign an NDA and give them proper testing and feed back if they just let us instead of taking a year to do the UI in this game (counting both OW and in port).  Yes we got a few other things, most of which was trinkets to shut us up (DLCS) but I'm starting to wonder where the hello kitty my 250 dollars from the DLC went if there is still only two programers still and I know I wasn't the only one to buy DLC's or new ALTS (a lot of folks that didn't have alts I know bought one).  I got prob over 500 bucks myself into this game so I would like to see it actually make it to release some days, if not oh well I got prob that much out of it in play time (over 9K hours game play including AFK time) so I didn't really loose much if it tanks tomorrow.

AND WHERE THE HELL ARE PAINTS?  WHY CAN WE NEVER GET AN ANSWER ABOUT THIS STRAIGHT UP?

Well, I prefer this more personal style than the always pleasant but unapproachable professional style.

We're not really customers yet, we've been invited to a partly open development process. It can't be truly open if we demand to be treated like easily offended and entitled customers.

Be careful what you ask for...

Not customers yet? I have personally spent over $60 on the game. I wasn’t invited to play, I payed for it. Like the Admiralty connection that I will not be able to fully utilize when the update hits the PvP server. I am their customer and I fully expect to be treated as such.
