o Barão Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 My buddy captain caravela is having issues in downloading the new test server. when he goes to naval action properties on steam and goes to the beta options it only shows the option "none-close all beta programs" And when it tries to use the code gives an error. Any solution please?

Impossible unfortunately - wait a couple of days for testbed to stabilize and then it will operate like live servers with 1 hour daily maintenance (mostly).

It was abused by none pirates (using pirate alts) and we now have ways around this and well just screw it let them abuse it and we will report it, but pirates should be able to fight each other. Keep the able to enter both sides also. With that I'm actually on one of my alts as a Pirats cause it's more central. Most folks might want to do what we did last time on testbed is pick two nations close to each other to test things. Most of us did pirates last time cause we could fight each other to test things. One of the problems I was noticing this morning with the UI and dragging stuff is that the box you drag is the size of the text/item and some times is hard to get into what your dragging it into if your not perfect on the size. Wonder if there a way to make them smaller when being dragged and than have it go back to original size when it's dropped into a new location. That and why is Econ production so freaking expensive? I haven't been able to do any cause it was very expensive compared to what It feels like in game now. I have to go out and grind a lot of gold just to do my econ. As mention before all coins lookd the same. Silver coins items should have silver coin not a gold looking coin. That and when you mouse over have the item actually tell you what the cost is. The Admiralty shop is a bit pain cause every thing looks like it takes doubloons when really some of it takes silver coins and such. 2
John Sheppard Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 (edited) FINALLY we get rid of the black screen first impression was good like "Wow looks really nice" but i believe there are problems : It is important to keep balance between functionality and appearance and not make something complicated for the sake of complicating it Call me retro but i think the old interface (just like the OW UI) was much better on the functionality front . It took me only few minutes to figure out when i started this game. But now that i have over 3k hours it took me the better part of half an hour to find everything i needed in this new UI even with help and i do believe that a lot of new players won't be able to do simple tasks in this new UI which will make it very frustrating While having separate little buttons to open windows to provide access to various function looks nice and frees space for the ship in the middle, it's orders of magnitude harder to navigate and use , compared to the old system . I mean take crafting for example .. you have to open buildings first then go into blueprints and then everything is mixed unlike before .. I had to ask how to find crafting in the first place. I believe the solution would be keep the top tabs as in the old UI that are so easy to find and use . Expand the warehouse make it semi-transparent place it where the compass usually sits in OW and have the chest/marks wallet on the other corner where ppl usually keep the chat window . This way you can still see the lovely scenery and ship and manage our stuff without getting a headache Also i've noticed that in port my FPS are significantly lower than they are in OW and i don't know why (i'm running borderline playable in OW/battle at 20fps average and in port it feels like 10-12 Edited September 26, 2018 by John Sheppard

I have made a second steamfolder cause my download is @+/-340kb/s i can sign in on the other steam for testbed and if i want too play on live server i can sign in on the other Steam without download everytime. Is Testbed online? Still at work cant get on like yesterday.
