Basic Cutter in PVP

  I was sailing from Water Bay to Sunbury yesterday and was being shadowed by a Pirate in a Basic Cutter. East of Saint Marys a Le ReQuin joined us and tagged me. Once in the battle, the Basic Cutter was in the battle also (see picture).

Is this a bug?  While in a Basic Cutter with other ships, I have never been able to be pulled into a PVP battle.  Has something changed with the dynamic for the Basic cutter?

A basic cutter can not start a PvP action against another player, but they can be tagged or join battles.

I know that they can be tagged.  Since when are they able to go into a pvp battle?  This is new to me.  I haven't been able to get into one to assist with a PVP battle in one yet.

Caroline Vodka - They have always been able to be tagged, but, haven't been able to join or be pulled into a PVP battle.

I didn't even notice it was a PB, but good to know, next week....maybe patch, like big big big patch next week?  Or just a hotfix?  *HINT REQIUN 5TH RATE HOTFIX**
