The State of Game Marketing

Greetings my dear fellows,

Is there anyone privy to the marketing plans and strategies for this wonderful game of ours? It has been many moons since I've seen a Steam marketing campaign, which is a right shame....

Advertisement of the game is critical to infusing the playerbase. One may think the market is already flushed out, but I believe there to be players-to-be yet!

Me too, but the ads are very old and don't say much. Just some panning shots of large fleets, linebattles etc. Little or no mention of the open world, mmo, or a lot of critical stuff that you want prospective players to know about.
