Ink Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Captain, could you please completely uninstall the current GPU driver with a program like DDU and make a clean install of the latest driver. Please let us know if the problem is still there. 1

sveno Posted September 1, 2018 Author Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) Tried to update my GFX Drivers on the GTX780 (sorry was no GTX840, my error) that failed, for reasons unknown, because after update i was on VGA and could not read the NVIDIA error message anymore (fail, fail, fail). That made me reinstall my old GTX970 (on which the coolers dont work and the card has a torsion of about 20 degrees) and it is running fine. It is very well possible that my issues rooted in the fact that we took my beloved Win7 64bit drive and put it into an other PC. Mainboard, CPU, GFX were all different from my old PC, but it was fun to rape windows that way. Now testing some battle instances with the GTX970. Edited September 1, 2018 by sveno
sveno Posted September 1, 2018 Author Posted September 1, 2018 @Ink Fighted long time today, not a single issue. I say it was my fault and case can be closed - thank you for your help! 1
