Because its just no fun anymore... sure I have the le req and herc too... but heck its the only ships that currenty make sense to take for pvp... they just made the game boring... why even have the other ships except as fooder for the p2w ships after all they need victims... but also the main fault is actually the mission system... I got killed on my way to do 5th rate missions and sorry the game should just put missions at kpr in the zone so you can actually unlock slots on ships without getting into fights...  and actually fix where stuff is placed... it gave me one day like 10 times 2nd rate missions at pedro cay... the game is to stupid to know "hey its a 2nd rate it can not make it in shallows"... and instead of adding like a simple if statement like if mission in shallows dont do it... they let you cancel them by hand... its annoying... Anyhow if they ever fix it well I still have 2 ships left LOL

That's exactly where I am atm too, I'm not trying to lead you on. I'm hoping patrol missions can be setup to provide competitive fun (read: ganking blocked). I also have the dlc's but haven't used them for pvp yet, I've used an expendable frigate in the patrol zone, haven't had to deal with hercs or requins (note: I don't play all day, erry day... though, I wish for competive fun to be "unlocked" so I will want to do just that).

I agree with @z4ys when he points to mods as a major factor in making the requin so "OP", by extention mods and their stacking is the true devil and has been for a long time.

Also, the dlc "problem" is exacerbated by eco/crafting and people's proven inclination to bypass it. I actively dislike the eco part of this game so I watch the dlc butthurt with a measure of unabashed schadenfreude.

Anyhoo... Here's what will happen: The dlc's will be balanced, either directly or indirectly by a global rebalance of unrated ships.

You can always go back to WG's perfectly balanced premiums (literally 12 minutes ago):

Ok, so I'm back at dabbling a tiny bit with tanks, but I do it with a sense of shame; I feel shame because I'm cheating on the most wonderful woman (Naval Action). I suppose I do because I'm low brow and don't like "playing it smart" (read: gank or run) and want to win because of individual skill and not team "skill". This goddamm wargame mentality of iF yOUr iN a FaIR figHT, yOU'rE dOINg It wrONg!

All fun aside, you said you played World of Warships [WoWs]?  This is what I’ve being doing since April. How did you handle the DLC and P2W in this game?

I’m finding [WoWs] is a much weaker game compared to NA-OW. Battles in NA-OW I still have vivid memories whether 1v1 or rolling multi-port battles at George Town. [WoWs] just doesn’t have the same buzz or feel even for all its resources...

Posting a Question or comment on the forum gets little response or real feedback just troll kids who use this thing. What’s the point?

This game isn’t even launched yet. Quite rightly you felt aggrieved over an incident. You complained on three different POSTs in the last 24hours which is your right of course. Now I’m going to show why I think this GAME is fcuking great and maybe a rethink is due.

Just this POST you have 5 full pages of responses. Just have a look at all the different players some taking the p/ss but they then start to dig. Even @admin responds, he NEVER responds but does in this case in detail On Page 1. I’m lucky if I get a like and smiley face from him. Also 7 players started in 2016 or before with at least 4k hours game each first page. These are the hardcore fanboys me included.

Second page it continues with them Breaking the problem down. More fanboys with @dark lord rediii and @Intrepidojoining in. Look at @AeRoTR sail profile post. Or @Jon Snow lets go sail profile chart comparison. These Testers are working the problem. I’ve never played a game where the player base is so passionate about making NA-OW fore fill its true potential. This comes with a double-edge sword unfortunately...

Things don’t always go right, and it takes such a long time for goals to be reached in NA-OW its like water torture. This is not an excuse for @admin but you genuinely feel the grind because YOU can see its potential. I’ve never known a community like it.

World of Warships [WoWs] or EvE Online [EvE] I just don’t feel it. YOU do care because you’ve continued to reply to the posts properly. Take a step back till after the roll out is done. Then come back and look at it with some attitude...

In the meantime, [WoWs] EU Server look me up.... really though what Chance do you think you’ve got...?

I really liked the game before the DLCs came out... if I would not have liked it I would not even have bothered to write a post... I would have just stopped... when I got this game I actually did not play world of warships for month. And I would not say I am a great player but I think I was decent I could level my ships get some pvp marks etc... Why I got so frustrated is I liked to do pvp in different ships now it all comes down to le req or herc... So it just got frustrating and boring... and well I just got an lgv refit and was taking it out the first time to unlock slots doing missions... and boom... and of cause the DLC player has nothing to loose... he gets sunk fine he can get a new ship in 24 hours... I worked hard for my ship... 

So a couple of frustrations come together... first why are 5th rate missions that also beginners take are outside the zone? Since she had no upgrades yes and no skills I took a really good infa as fleet ship.... why could my AI ship not hit the herc if her life depends on it? If you do missions the enemy AI ships can fire at crazy angles... you use a fleet ship and you can be lucky if it does nothing stupid like shoot you :)

About World of Warships Premium Ships I think they are pretty ballanced... and if they fuck up like with the Graf Zeppelin CV they actually react... The removed this ship for a while and even offered refunds. The developers here could have started with more conventional ships as DLCs... or sell stuff that people like and dont influence the game... Like 1€ for a paint job I would have done for that.... and make it so that its gone if the ship is sunk... would have been a nice money stream and would not have influenced the game...

They could have also make it so that the ships are worth something like make them redeemable only once a month or even once a week... but soooo who cares if you loose it... This way it impacts game play and the economy... I was also ship crafting and well demand for 6th and 5th rates went really down at least in my experience... why buy something if you can redeem something everday and it beats everything that can be crafted...

Again I was addicted to this game when it came out because of the open world and the fact that there was no premium ships and you could not just get an advantage by credit card. You had to earn stuff... now somebody just pays and can take stuff away that you worked hard for with no risk... I had crazy attacks like 3 le reqs trying to attack my fleet of two inger even in the zone... They just dont care... it fails. I actually sunk one and got out that time... 

To come back to World of Warships and premium there it does not matter so much because you are always in a fleet and again there is no super duper OP ships like the Herc and Le Req. For example the differences between Tirp and Bismark are Torps so you get your premium advantage only if somebody comes into the 6km torp range... and yes I got kills because of that premium feature but its not an OP feature... 

I still have ships left and maybe if they get the new mission system I give it another shot but for now I am out... and if you read the forums I am not the only player that made the DLC experience and left because of it. It is just simply flawed... and yes I am ranting because it ruined something I really liked... 

In World of Warships I am TurboFish also on the EU server so maybe we see each other there :)

I have told the devs my opinion many times and am very critical of the game. I have never received a warning nor has a topic of mine been closed. 

Both warnings were received trolling national chat and I am surprised I wasn't banned for that.

Go look at my profile and read the posts about my opinion on the dlc ships and the arguments I have had with admin about them. The reason I don't get banned and others do IMO is that I will never criticise something without giving a good reason for it. You can say what you want and never get banned as long as you have a reasonable point. 

I was reading your posts last night and you wanted to cause problems. You were actively looking for a ban. Don't be provocative on the forums here because it won't get you anywhere. That is for national chat and @Banished Privateer :p 

My clan mate and friend otto gets forum bans all the time but they are not without reason. He is currently banned :)

For the record: I love the concept of imported ships and how they enable me to skip the boring part. I hope they'll offer more of those later. I don't need any ships that stand out, just a normal frigate comparable to the others. I'll take those out instead and only resort to requin meta if I run out of proper ships.

It matters for me and from your words, at least in some cases it matters for you. It's not about liking someone, but about fueling some kind of relations, or some kind of feelings. I'm involved in NA mostly for fun and positive aspects, for building things or improving - either my skills, or my team. That's what hooks me to the game. I don't want to fuel negative aspects.

Yes, until now we didn't fight yet due to time issues.

Exactly, DLC ships don’t have to be OP, just replaceable, except Game-Labs should have sold them in batches of 25, once they’ve runout then they would have to buy more, hehe much more revenue.

Well what they could have done is put some normal ships like lgv refit, wasa etc that you can buy with pvp marks in the store... and yes instead of giving you a new one every day make it come either with a longer interval oh yeah I like the idea that you actually get a stack and if its gone you need to buy it again... like for 5€ you get 5 LGV refit... for 7.5€you get 5 Wasa etc... It would have been better money wise for the developers and it would just have given people a shortcut to established and balanced ships. But I guess since the Herc and Le Req stuff is released and people paid for it they cant mess with it to much... So Naval Action is stuck with this stupid DLC stuff... And again they could have also added stuff like paints, or another nice example to make easy money would be selling sealed bottle for 1€ a pop, or with some coding give people the ability to add custom name plates to thier ships etc... A lot of options none of them would have messed with the non DLC players. Heck even put PVP marks in the store so new players can get them to upgrade thier ships.

Actually the developers should look at the reward system for battles that World of Warships has... Right now from Missions you get XP, Gold and Combat Marks... fine.. If you are highest rank and your ship has all slots unlocked... Nothing in but gold and combat marks... You dont craft etc... the combat marks are not that usefull either... so whats left? Gold... Maybe like in World of Warships each mission should give you points towards chests that you can reedem and get random stuff in them... Also another pain is the patrol zone, why not at least spawn more ai ships in the patrol area so people dont hunt there for hours for nothing.

I am not really telling him to behave. I am saying what the facts are. You know I am a man that likes to keep to facts because that is how to be objective. The facts say that I get away with alot in game and on forums. Sure I am currently banned in game for the 15th or more time but I don't blame things on the devs or mods. You know it yourself how bomgordel and I try and find the limit on how much we can insult you in global chat without the warning :P

I also love the concept of a lobby based game like we had in sea trials but that is not what we have. The devs decided to go in the sandbox direction and people know I don't like farming for things and pretty much get my money and mods from guys I ask in global. You would be surprised on how many people just give stuff away. Anyway that is besides the point because in choosing to make NA a sandbox, the ships and gameplay all need to follow the same rules. People say that the DLC ships should not enter port battles but that is really bad imo. Everything can be done properly if you see the problem. DLC ships should be redeemed as notes and there is nothing you can say that will make me see it otherwise. Crafting rules should apply to all ships. Make exceptions to those rules and you break the game. Logistics are one of the most important things in wars and this is a war game right? Make exceptions to DLC ships like not allowing them into port battles and you break the ship. Suicide for the DLC model and bad overall game design. 

The herc having 18s is not an issue like many think. The herc only makes the issue stand out more because she is such a "small" and a small ship "shouldn't" be able to dismast a 2nd rate like a herc can do. Masts and armour penetration are not where they should be in my opinion. If a 9 pounder can pen any ship at 100m then there will be no issues with 18s on the herc. Masts are a bit more complicated but thats where mast hp needs to be looked at again. I believe the herc still has a high thickness and hp but am not sure. Not the only ship where mast balance is an issue anyway. Ocean is completely overpowered too. Masts are way to strong compared to vic and armour and hp just make other 1st rates useless. Look at port battle meta. Santi suffers from having an old model and doesn't have the curves like the ocean. The santi will never be able to be competitive against the ocean if armour values stay like they are because the model is just wrong.

Repair mods being overpowered is a product of multi repair mods. You cannot fix the problem without looking at the source. You stack repair mods on multi repairs and you get chaos. In very long 1v1 I have been worn down because opponents had a overall repair advantage of 2%. That is 10% over 5 repairs and can be 1 or 2 broadsides advantage. That is only 2% difference and the difference of a ship with repair mods vs a ship with none is an impossible battle only because of multi repairs. Speed mods don't have this issue because a speed mod takes up the room of a repair mods or some other good combat mod. A fast ship can sail but it will not really win unless its designed to be at the perfect sweet spot between speed and tankiness. 

You ever see moscalb liqy or other great pvpers using a speed setup ship to sealclub? No but they sure as hell have the best repair mods they can get their hands on.

Blueprints, expensive permits(150+++pvp marks) and building-timer, for example 1 ship per week(2 weeks...).

Xebec and Hercules don't have the alternative of craftable ships. They are very good ships which stay outside the economics.
