Cant enter Combat Order on enemy side

So i found a Victory today which started a Combat mission right in front of me. I wanted to join on the enemy side to give it a try and was surprised, that i was only able to join the mission on the players side and not on the other one (here neutral)

So my question: intended or bug?

The same happened to me today when a brit. Renomee started a combatmission at Aves. I could not join the „Freetown/Pirat“ side with my Endymion. I had only the option to choose joining the british side.

Had this issue with pirates multiple times. It would only let me join pirate side.

You cannot enter a combat instance on Freetown side - this is not a bug. You can check the nation by hovering mouse on the flag

Why can we then enter hostility missions on neutral side then? Shouldnt there be a link? #savetheneutrals

wait so you can take missions from freetowns and there is a "neutral" side that other players can't join?
