There should be a few none important ports so small clans can claim and hold but not half the ports out there

Not in any serious fleet. they pick what the commanders tell them to bring. and in most fleets they are usually premade ships that are passed out or assigned before the battles. 1

We will see if the things change There is concern that they wont - and the issue might have more to do with convenience. These screens remind me the times when 3rd rates could be captured and all port battles were full of captured 3rd rates, despite the fact there were better alternatives -generating a lot of comments here on the forums. We fixed it then but not sure if it was a good idea to fix as we dont know how many players lost desire to go to port battles at all by our removal of capture of 3rd rates. It's definitely not the reason of convenience to bring DLC ships to PB's. You can have only one DLC ship, which means you need to use a tow. In the same time every player from this list could craft himself, or have his clan craft, any PB ship without any problems. Those ships are cancer of the game. They already plague protected zones - players get killed by them next to forts and with reinforcements in battle. Now it's time of PB's to be ruined. Why sail 20 different types of ships, when everyone can sail DLC ones? Edited August 28, 2018 by vazco 3
