unable to login

Hi when i try to login i get the following message…….  game client is corrupt. But what i ever i do i keep getting the same message over and over again. please someone help me.

Apologies you're having some issues with the game client, and apologies it's taken me this long to help you out.  Hethwill's post from the other day very cleanly describes my first recommendation, with pictures.  So, assuming he doesn't mind, I'm going to blatantly plagiarize him.

Please confirm this is the same on your own steam client

 

Also please do Verify Integrity of Game Files

Please confirm that you tried to verify integrity of game files or reinstall the game but that problem still exist.

Hi thank you for your reply however i did already tried what you suggested and just to be sure i just did it again 1 sec. ago but unfortunally with the same result. itsays all files are validaded but that's it nothing happens after that. I have the proof that i bought the copy in my e-mail so it cannot be that besides STEAM shows the gamecode as normal. I played the game before without problems untill my PC got problms and i had to reinstall windows again so now i am reinstalling all my games but this game does not work after the reinstall so i have no idea ow to fix this. I enclose a screenshot of the message i get and if it will let me upload 2 files a DXdiag.

Captain, please make sure you have all Windows updates installed, especially this one:

Also, make sure you have installed 2013, 2015 and 2017 redist packages from here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
