Truly want this idea. The Constitution was towed out of harms way by the use of the ships boats. They were used to haul the anchors out to kedge off a sand bar or some such when they had run aground. Also great fore exploring shallows that even a lynx can't get into. While at it, I would like to see the gunboat brought back. Good for very shallow waters.
